About Wovoka
Wovoka is pioneering scientifically proven, community driven nature restoration, focusing on empowering Southeast Asian communities to restore and maintain terrestrial and mangrove ecosystems through high-quality, nature-based carbon removal solutions. Southeast Asia has experienced a 70-80% loss in primary forest cover since 1890. Wovoka's mission is to identify suitable areas for ecosystem restoration, working directly with communities to restore and protect native forests while providing financial support for alternative revenue streams that protect ecosystem services. We offer the necessary tools and support for sustainable forest management and biodiversity, based on solid scientific research and community-driven projects.
